Dear Rob and Team, First of all, I wanted to say when we decided to sell our house, our next chore was to find a realtor that we were happy with. We decided that we would have 3 realtors go through our house and decide on the one that fit our needs since this was our first time selling a house. I must say the first real estate agent did not give us a good feeling but when Rob came in to do a presentation (to basically sell himself), we were more than impressed!!!! To start, Rob came prepared, he had put together a book for us giving us all kinds of information on what homes, similar to ours sold for in our area, he presented statistics on what his homes sold for and what other real estate agents homes sold for. He also provided written references both from fellow real estate agents and from happy sellers. WOW, were we impressed – we knew then and there we wanted Rob and his team to sell our home!!! We were planning on interviewing a few agents when we were ready to sell our home, but after we met with Rob we didn't feel the need to. He had done his research before our first meeting -- he came prepared with information on comparable homes in the neighbourhood and what they had sold for, as well as a breakdown of what he thought we could sell our house for. He also had a marketing strategy ready, one that was comprehensive and impressive. He answered all of our questions before we had even asked them. And we were confident he would work his best to sell our house. We think Rob's marketing strategy made our house stand out from the crowd. The pictures the professional photographer took were high resolution and magazine worthy. Within days, our home was listed in the newspaper and on several websites. The brochures Rob and his team created for our home showcased not just the interiors, but the neighbourhood as well -- an important point, since people don't just buy homes, they are buying into the neighbourhood. Rob's strategy was to hold off offers for one week, and it worked -- we had over 100 showings in a week. It was hectic, but Rob and his team were always there to answer our questions and solve any problems we might have had. On offer night, we had 16 offers. Most were well over asking. We sold our home in Churchill Meadows with Rob Kelly in April. Before we chose him, we had worked with another Realtor in buying our new home, and had interviewed two others in the process of getting ready to sell our home. We thought a lot about what we wanted in a Realtor: honest, hardworking, thorough, and professional. Rob was all that and more. We phoned some references and all had great things to say. We read all the testimonials of people who had sold their home with him: again, glowing reviews. What impressed us most about Rob when we met him, was his straightforward, direct style and his thorough knowledge of our neighbourhood. He came prepared to our first meeting with a booklet outlining the recent sales in our area and what we could realistically expect to sell our home for. Rob put us in touch with an expert staging company who came and made recommendations of furniture placement and décor arrangement. We packed things away, cleaned and scrubbed and cleaned some more. We had interviewed, as well, two other agents from different agencies to get a cross section of opinion. When we were preparing to sell our most valuable asset, our home, we were faced with a predicament. We were in a situation where we had been in contact with an Agent, someone we knew personally and a second Agent someone with whom we had previously worked with professionally.
